Spring changes and specials coming soon!
Chablis - Bernard Legland
Although we were happy with the Goulley Chablis we were stocking, Legland has produced a nice, classic-style wine that we can offer in both 750ml and 375ml.
Chateauneuf du Pape - M. Chapoutier
One of Rhone’s most well-respected houses. Robert Parker describes Michel as “one of the planet’s shining stars.”
Gruner Veltliner and Pinot Noir - Meinklang (Austria)
Two reasons for these choices: First, Austrian wines have a bad rap - why? Cheap supermarket varieties have left this country with a poor image of what is one of the most integrous winemaking regions in the world! The Gruner is a lovely and distinctive option for lovers of interesting, dry whites; and the Pinot Noir one our blind tasting hands down. The second reason? Sharp bottle design.
Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot - VOE
The most notable Chilean estate with Alvaro Espinoza at the winemaking helm. He has worked at Chateau Margaux and Bonterra and studied at universities in Bordeaux and Santiago. This one is on for at least the winter.
AOC Alsace Gewurztraminer Grand Cru - A. Stentz
This is an upgrade of our already popular Gewurztraminer.
Cotes du Rhone, ‘Nature’ - Domaines Perrin
We ran this one by you for a while by the glass. It was so popular that we’ve decided to add it to the list. |
