Over the years we have used numerous methods for training and to help our volunteers and staff with the demands and challenges of ensuring the needs of our members are met. This pack includes ideas for workshops, and the associated materials, which we have found to be helpful to us. Please feel free to download it for your own use
Download PackThis manual was produced to support volunteers on the citizen advocacy project. It is an additional resource for them to refer to after initial training. While ideas and suggestions are given in the manual, we recognise that each situation that may arise for someone with learning disabilities is unique. We encourage our volunteers to seek support and to share ideas throughout their advocacy partnership.
