P/T Projects Co-ordinator
17.5 hours per week
We're currently looking for a dynamic and motivated person to join
our projects team in the recruitment and training of volunteers and
the overall provision of exciting Social Development Projects and
activities for our disabled participants.

Job Title: Projects Co-ordinator

Hours: 17.5 hours per week (evening and/or weekend hours
required regularly)

Pay: £16,683 per annum

Responsible to: Projects Manager
Key Responsibilities
-
To recruit, train, support and supervise volunteers for the Kith &
Kids activities for children, young people and adults with
learning, physical and/or sensory disabilities. To organise and
co-run these activities and relevant training sessions with other
Kith & Kids permanent staff and sessional workers.
Person Specification

Essential:

Disability Awareness.

Training and support experience.
-
Excellent communication skills, both written and personal, to
positively promote Kith & Kids.

Welcoming and confident telephone manner.
-
Energy, enthusiasm, self-motivation.
-
Flexibility and adaptability.
-
Excellent IT skills, including databases (Access) and the ability
to learn new software.
-
Experience of running social media campaigns.
-
Experience of creating social media and advert content.
-
Good understanding of the voluntary sector and volunteering
trends.

Good organisational skills.
-
Good time management.
-
Ability to work as part of a team.
-
Ability to work under own initiative.
-
Ability to work under pressure.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.
-
Basic numeracy skills (collating statistics and petty cash
management).

Ability to work/think creatively.

Full driving licence and use of a car
